Principal Change at JMS: Strong Signs With Homedale; Wonderlich Comes on Board

It was recently announced that Principal Moss Strong has taken a middle school Principal position with the Homedale School District starting in the fall. Strong, who has been at the helm of Jefferson for several years, will be sorely missed by the JMS Cougar Family. We wish her the best in her new career.
Looking ahead to the fall, we are pleased to announce that Mrs. Meghan Wonderlich, former Vice-Principal at Syringa Middle School will be taking over as Principal at Jefferson. A Seattle area native, Wonderlich graduated from Skyline High School in 1999. She attended Northwest Nazarene University where she majored in Political Science before attending the University of Idaho, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Math Education. Following eight years of teaching Math at Rocky Mountain High School, she obtained a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Idaho in 2015. That fall, she accepted the Assistant Principal position at Syringa Middle School where she has served the past two years.
Mrs. Wonderlich and her husband Jason have two children, Annie and Luke.
This fall, JMS will also have a new Vice-Principal. Mr. Benjamin Krahenbuhl was hired to replace Mr. Rehder. Krahenbuhl comes to Jefferson from the Vallivue School District, where he taught math at Sage Valley Middle School. We are excited to have him as our new Vice-Principal!
