Parent-Teacher Conferences Tonight and Thursday!

Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences have been scheduled at JMS during the following dates and times to discuss first quarter progress reports:
Wednesday, September 20th, 4:00-8:00pm
Thursday, September 21st, 7:30am - 1:00pm and 3:00pm - 8:00pm
Friday, September 22nd, NO SCHOOL/NO CONFERENCES
The Book Fair will also run during these times for shopping.

Cross Country Has Strong Showing in Home Meet!

Cross country saw a great turnout for their home meet! Highlights of the event include varsity girls placed second overall, with Demi Thompson coming in third place at 10:40, and Isabel Santillan in 6th place with 10:47. Great job girls! JV girls also came in second with some impressive PRs. JV boys came in third, and boys varsity in 4th place. Great job to all of our athletes for running hard and helping make the meet successful! Our next meet is Monday September 25 in Emmett. Wish us luck!

There will be no practice today, and an optional practice Thursday from 230-330. Remember to complete your workout logs and turn them in first thing Monday. To run in Monday's meet your log must be turned in to mai or Tetreault.

Football Loses Close One On Road

The 8th grade football team lost at Mt. Home last night 26-22. They
are now 1 and 2 on the season, 1 and 1 in division play.

plays tonight at Middleton at 4:00. Bus leaves at 3:15.

Our 8th grade "A" football team lost a heart breaker last night in Mountain Home at the hands of the Tigers, 26-22. The team is now 1-2 on the season and 1-1 in division play.
Our 8th grade "B" team will take the field today in Middleton vs. the Vikings. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00. Good luck Coug's!

Fall Book Fair Shopping in Library!

The fall book fair is up and running in the library! Shoppers may browse the new and exciting titles before and after school and during lunches. The fair will also run during Parent-Teacher Conferences on September 20th - 21st.

Important Football Update

7th grade fb game cancelled due to lack of eligible players at Mt. Home
8th grade game is now scheduled for 4:15.

Also, our 7th grade B team lost to Middleton last night 21-13. 8th grade
B game will be made up Wednesday.

8th Grade Football Earns Win vs Vallivue!

The 8th grade football team evened their season record at 1-1 and now have a division record of 1-0 with a 2-0 shut-out at Vallivue last night. The Cougars scored the only points of the night on a blocked punt in the 3rd quarter and made it count with two critical 4th down stops in the 4th quarter. One team one dream!

8th Grade Volleyball Picks Up Win!

The amazing 8th grade Lady Cougars traveled to Sage Valley!! In the first game the team struggled to get going and found themselves behind 9 points but the team rallied together and the tenacity set in and we pulled off the win at 26-24. Our top server for the first game was Kennedy Cordell Alejandra Mayoria and Cadance Patterson provided amazing saves to help us to the win.

In the second game the tenacity continued with a new set of Lady Cougars and our first server Daisy Camacho served an amazing 11 serves in a row to get the team a running start. It was at that point that it didn't take long to take the win at 25-7. Super Amazing games Ladies!!!!
