Jefferson PE students recently participated in their version of the Rio Olympics. Students picked teams of four and were given a country to represent. After practicing different track and field events, the teams competed in a track meet, which included five events. Each event had to have a representative from every country. They had to have one member in each of the following events the 100m, 800m, shot put, and long jump. Together as a group they also competed in the 4x100m relay. It was great to see the everyone work their hardest to do their best for the team, and was truly a fun event to witness. After the completed event results were tallied for each class as well as school wide.
