Today we were honored with a visit from members of the Mt. Moriah local lodge who came to the library to present gift packages to six of JMS's avid readers! The students were each presented with a Kindle Fire 7, case, and an Amazon gift card as winners of a recent contest offered through the JMS library. For the past several years, the Mt. Moriah Lodge has sponsored the reading contest which typically awards six lucky winners chosen in a random drawing. Students earned one entry for every 100 pages read and most had multiple entries. Thank you to our sponsor, Mt. Moriah Lodge # 39 and to Worshipful Master Todd Millington and Chris Duke, District Deputy Grand Master for coming to JMS and make the presentation to this year's round of winners, Davien Earle, Eden Hurtado, Ivan Alcantar, Kayla Stogsdill, Kamery Atkinson, and Aubrey Knight!
