The 8th grade boys basketball "A" team won a thrilling overtime game over  Middleton last night 52-50 in our gym. Zaylor Bruegeman hit five threes, all in the second half, to pace the offense with 19 points, followed by Preston Fogle with 9 points and LaZarius Kennedy with 8 points, including 6 in OT when the Cougars clawed back from an early six point deficit in OT to take the win and improve to 2-1. Mario Paz had a huge three in OT as well. "I have never been more proud of a Cougar team, we were resilient and relentless" commented Coach Harrison.

Our 8th Grade boys B team beat Middleton last night with the score of 31-19.  Our  record improved to 2-1 in the season.

Caldwell's 7th grade A team lost to a good Middleton team. They started slow and never really could find their groove. We had some things that went well and a few that didn't. This group of young men are looking for that magic spark that will happen. I told them to dust themselves off learn for the game and come out ready to prepare for the next game. One at a time! This is a learning process and we are all in it together. We are a team win, lose, or draw.

Last night the 7th grade C-Team played at home against the Kuna Kavemen. Our boys were able to come out with a win 17-12. Congratulations boys for going 2-0.

Our 8th Grade C Boys team won a close game against Kuna yesterday 23 to 20. Great defense and keep away sealed the win.
