On Monday, the 7th grade girls A team beat South 34-16. Our girls worked together to get a solid team win. Our posts—Kalie, Ricki, Kasi, and Jordyn—worked hard to get open and score from underneath. Our wings—Bethany, Brenda, Marissa, and Rylee— did a great job at playing defense and moving their feet. Our point guards—Demi and A’mya—worked together to break the press to get open layups, and made great passes into their posts. Great job, Cougars!

Our 8th Grade C Girls Basketball team won their second game Monday beating Vallivue 16 to 8. All of our girls played even minutes as we played well as a team. Maria Castreon led our team in rebounds with 4

followed by Cassandra with 3 and Diana, Danielle, Lynnaya, and Unecaue contributed 2 apiece. Violett had the most steals for us with 3 as Diana, Maria Baez, Keely, Ashli and Lily had 2 steal apiece. Lynnaya was our leader in points scored with 4. Great job girls we are 2 & 0 for the year.

 The 8th Grade Girls B-Team had a win Monday night against South Middle School winning 22 to 14. Danelle lead the team in scoring with 6 point. Jailey, Selena, Briana, Priscilla, Marilynn, and Mechelle also contributed to scoring. My post Selena, Leslie, and Janel played fantastic help defense and rebounding. The ball. Our 8th Grade girls “A” team lost Monday night against a very good Nampa team. Our girls fought hard the entire game and never gave up. Our record for the season is now 2-2
