Cougars Sweep Freemont for Win!

The 7th grade A team had a victorious night at Fremont, taking the match in two sets! The girls started slow in set 1, but gained confidence, beginning with some top notch serving by Maria Gutierrez and Gabby Adams. In set 2, the girls again started slow, getting behind early in the set. This however did not stop them from gaining composure and getting it done. Emily Madred served 11 in a row! Her effort lead a rally that gave the Cougars a 12 to 23 advantage. Hallie Staples served the last two points, finishing the match with an ace! It was an exciting team effort that got the Cougars the win!
