The 8C team picked up their 9th win yesterday with a 40-16 victory over Sage Valley. Adrian Verdugo turned in a strong performance in leading the Cougars to the win with 10 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 steals. Caeden Robertson also had a solid day, adding 6 points, 6 rebounds and 5 steals. Robertson also led in assists, with 5. Caldwell will travel to Vallivue tomorrow for the final 8C game of the season.

Starting today the counseling department is sending home a copy of your student's high school pre-registration sheet and four year plan. Please review this document and plan with your student. Our 8th Grade B team won the last game of the season last night vs Sage Valley with the score of 37-18. Our cougars dominated the entire game and every player contributed to the win. Congratulations on a great season!
The boys 8th grade A team lost a hard fought battle by 3 last night against Sage Valley. The team showed heart and determination. The team will next play in the tournament at Nampa West, starting on March 5th.

In 8th grade C team boys basketball action, our Cougars crushed Kuna Monday 40-18 to raise their record to 8-0 on the season. A balanced team effort led to the win for Caldwell in both scoring and rebounding. Leading the scoring effort was Kaden Scott with 6. Andres Rodriguez, Brandon Diaz, and Adrian Verdugo each followed closely with 5 a piece. Verdugo also led in rebounds with 10. Jesus Ponce and Brandon Diaz each had 7. Caeden Robertson was the team's top assist leader in the game with 5.

Five Jefferson band members were selected to the 2018 SWIMS Honor Band that performed this past weekend. JMS Band Director Mark Tripp reported that our students "played amazing in their concert!"
