8th Girls Split With Kuna

The 8th grade B Lady Cougars defeated Kuna Middle School 26-13. The team played amazing help defense. Michelle, Priscilla, Salena, and Danelle lead the Cougars combining with 21 of the 26 points. The team is now 8 and 1 for the season.
Our 8th Grade A team lost last night against Kuna. Our girls played extremely well and never gave up against a very strong Kuna team. Our last home game of the season is tonight, against Vallivue please come and support the team.

Kuna Kavewomen Can't Catch Our Coug's!

Last night, the 7th grade A team defeated Kuna by two points in a hard-fought battle. A’Mya led the team in scoring, and the rest of the team stepped up to play strong defense. The Cougars out-rebounded the Kavemen, which was a key in getting the win. Great game, ladies! Let’s keep the momentum going tonight against Vallivue.

Caldwell Splits With East Valley in 8th GBB

The 8th grade girls’ B team defeated a very aggressive East Valley 18 to 15. The girls battled through the Thanksgiving break without practices to settle back in and walk away with their 7th straight win. Great job ladies!

Our 8th Grade "A" girls team lost a tough one against East Valley last night. Our Cougars never gave up and fought all the way to the end of the game. Remember, practice is cancelled for tonight.

7th Grade Girls Basketball News

Last night, the 7th grade A team fell to Mtn. Home, losing 31-18. Despite the score, the girls still played hard and worked together. Most importantly, when we stopped at McDonalds on the drive home, many people commented on how well behaved our girls were. They used manners, stayed in their seats, and kept the voices down. Our bus driver said our team was the most respectful group she had ever seen. Ladies, we couldn’t be prouder of how well you represented Caldwell. See you this afternoon for practice at Syringa!

8th Grade Girls Pick Up Wins!

The 8th B team came from behind at the last minute to defeat Mt Home 18-17. The girls showed great pose and teamwork controlling the ball at crucial moments and playing fantastic defense. Great job! They are now 6 and 1 for the season.

The 8th Grade C Girls Basketball Team beat Vallivue yesterday 16 to 0. Our girls played great Team effort on defense
and had sufficient offense in our win. Our record now is 4 & 0 for the year. Violet led us in rebounds with 5 followed by
Danielle and Keely with 4 each. Danielle led us in steals with 7, Violet had 5 as Lynnaya and Ashli contributed 4 apiece.
Violet and Lynnaya led us in scoring with 4 apiece. Great effort girls. There is not practice today but we will practice
Friday.

JMS Dominates Mountain Home in Wrestling!

The JMS wrestling team stomped the Mountain Home Tigers 76-23 in a league dual Tuesday. The Cougars' dominant performance was mostly due to a great fighting spirit displayed by all.

Andronico Navarrette and Vinnie Valverde sparked the team with great energy. Gracin Go, and Hunter Bidiman scored quick pins while Ceasar Menchaca and Tony Ibarra gutted out awesome late match wins.

Great job Cougars! Next up is TVCS at home on Thursday.
