Cougars Maul Tigers to Earn Wins!

Congratulations to the 7th grade football team for their 26-6 win over Mountain Home yesterday. It was a great team effort.
7th grade football will have the day off today make sure you are all at practice Thursday.

The 8th grade "A" football team improved to 2-0 in the West Division of the IVL with a 15-12 victory over Mt. Home last night. Ignacio Gaona made a 20 yard field goal for the first points of the ball game. After Gabe Hernandez recovered the ensuing kick-off on the 2 yard line Alex Saucedo rain it in for the 9-0 lead. Michael Pickens scored the Cougars final points on a 10 yard run. Sauceda, Jose Campos and Josh Martinez combined for a hook and ladder on 4th and 18 to keep the drive going and Sauceda hit Campos on 4th and 9 with 2 minutes remaining so the Cougs could run out the clock. David Bustillos had an interception in the contest. Great effort teams!!
