Cougar's Take Down Vallivue in Volleyball Action!

The eighth grade C Lady Cougars took the court yesterday against the Vallivue Falcons. In the first game Kennedy Cordell hit the court like a true cougar. Kennedy saved a point with a miraculous pass to the other side. She also hit an amazing spike ball to help take the cougars to their first win of 25-21.

In the second game the lady cougars were ready to pounce on the Falcons. Cadance Patterson had some amazing serves. Adriana Mayorga had a great save in the game and Alejandra Mayorga hit several balls into the Falcons dead zone. Cathrine Strauch served us to an amazing win of 28-26. Good job ladies. Coach Myer

The 7th grade B volleyball team  beat the vallivue falcons yesterday in 2 straight matches. Strong serves and great communication on the court led the cougars to their second victory. There were many outstanding plays made by all of the girls, but a special congratulation to Ashley Roldan for her first kill!!

The 8th grade A team lost yesterday against Vallivue. We did an excellent job to fight our way back into the game despite being down at the beginning thanks to some great net play by Anthania Webb, Jada Scott, and Skylar Erickson.

Last night in the 8th grade B game, it was like a tale of two teams! In the first game Caldwell didn't serve well and lost the game 12-25! The second game was all Cougars all day with Shyanne Good starting us off with eight points. The girls played tough and played together to win that game 25-18.  Great net play by Noelia and Julia led the way to that victory. Fatima Zamora passed well and iris Guajardo put up some great sets. We play at home on Monday so come out and cheer us on!!

The 7th grade A volleyball team played amazing last night beating Vallivue in two, 25-14 and coming from behind in the second to clinch the win at 25-22. Maria dominated the serving line with Emily Lile and Lily Fogle taking control at the setting position. Nevaeh, Sky, and Davina all contributed key passing in the back row and the entire team stepped up their game playing with intensity and positivity. Your coach is extremely proud of you. Remember, no practice today.
