Boys Basketball Teams Sweep Syringa

Monday was a great day for the boys basketball teams at JMS. In 7th grade action, the B team won 37-12 over Syringa. Andrew Natali led the Cougars in scoring with 10 points while teammates Xavier Rosado and Teddy Leyva each add 6 points in the win.
The 7th grade A team cruised to a 52-28 win over Syringa in a game where every JMS Cougar scored. Jacob Martinez led the way with 11 points, followed by Cameron Morales with 9, and Nate Forsythe contributed 7.
In 8th grade action, the JMS B team rolled over Syringa 39-10. Titus Mitchell led the charge with 10 points and 6 rebounds, followed by Nate Jasper with 8 points and 3 steals.
The A team followed suite when they jumped out to a double digit lead early in their game and never looked back.
