The 7th Grade A basketball team's season opened on the road at Emmett. Despite a near deadlocked first half in scoring, 11-10 in favor of the Huskies, the second half was all Cougs. JMS went to an uptempo game, utilizing a very dominant press which forced turnovers and got things moving offensively. The strategy adjustment paid off for the Cougars as they cruised to a 45-23 win.
