JMS Dominates Mountain Home in Wrestling!

The JMS wrestling team stomped the Mountain Home Tigers 76-23 in a league dual Tuesday. The Cougars' dominant performance was mostly due to a great fighting spirit displayed by all.

Andronico Navarrette and Vinnie Valverde sparked the team with great energy. Gracin Go, and Hunter Bidiman scored quick pins while Ceasar Menchaca and Tony Ibarra gutted out awesome late match wins.

Great job Cougars! Next up is TVCS at home on Thursday.

7A Cougars Get Last Second Win in Girls Basketball!

Last night, the 7th grade A team played a fantastic game against Lone Star, winning 34-32. Even though emotions were running high, the girls never gave up on each other. Caldwell was down by eight with three minutes to go when A’mya led the team to an epic comeback. With ten seconds left, the Cougars stole the ball. A’mya dribbled it up the court and passed it to Kasi, who made the game winning shot! Congratulations, ladies. No practice today, but we will see you tomorrow for pictures and practice.

Cougars Win Three in 8th Grade Girls Basketball!

Our 8th Grade A girls basketball team defeated Fremont Middle School in Kuna last night with the score of 27-21 to pick up a well deserved win.
The 8th Grade B-Team also beat Fremont, winning 33-9. Briana lead the way with 8 points while Selena had 7.
Our 8th Grade C Girls Basketball Team beat Sage Valley yesterday 18 to 12. We played well as a team and came out with the Victory.

8th Grade Girls Sweep Sage in Hoops Action!

The 8th grade girls A team basketball team won their first game of the season last night against Sage. The Final score 21-15. Great job girls.

The 8th Grade Girls B-Team had a great game last night against Sage Middle School winning 23 to 10. Selena lead the team with 8 points and 14 rebounds, Danielle had 4 point, and Ebony, Briana, Priscilla, and Marilynn had 2 points.

Cougars Fall to Kuna in Championship

The 8th grade football team lost their IVL Championship Game at Kuna last night 42-0. Trailing only 8-0 after the first quarter, Caldwell's three turnovers were converted quickly into a 29-0 half time lead for Kuna. In the second half the Cougars surrendered a punt return for a score and a meaningless TD pass late in the game for the final points.

"I am extremely proud of the way we competed with class last night for four quarters and am thankful for the 47 guys that had the mental toughness to finish what they started! You are back to back IVL West Champions and 10-0 in West games. I feel blessed to have coached such an outstanding group of young men! 8th Grade Football Dessert Info

The 8th grade Football team will be having a dessert banquet to celebrate the team's Back to Back West Division Championships on Monday, November 5th in the Jefferson cafeteria at 7:00. If you finished the season with the Cougars at Kuna please join us on Monday night and bring a dessert.
