Join the 3D classes here at Jefferson Middle School as we create a "Get to know you sculpture" using a variety of colored papers. We learn something new every day! alright today we are going to be creating a paper sculpture that is all about you it's kind of I get to know you sold her before we start though we need to make sure we have our supplies at your table you should have a variety of colors and there's to be yellow blue green purple red pink and orange so I'm definitely once we get started make sure that you have all those colors don't worry about it right now but once you get started I can always get you some more if you run out of a color you also need a little thing of glue and then we're going to be using a nice little popsicle stick it makes a really nice little thing to get the glue and put it on a paper before we start that we need to make sure that we get a piece of paper and it's just a nice small semi-fixed piece of paper that we sometimes use to paint with and we are going to use this as our big for our sculpture going to glue everything so that stands up off of the piece of paper to show our personality traits are likes or dislikes things about us now before we begin we need to identify sculpture is puth so I want you to make sure that you put your first and last name on the back of the paper does it matter what side just determine which one want me to back so I put my and it's weird cuz the white is weird in here there you can come see it put your name it's important for you to put your first and last name and then put your. Number once you have that done you're going to flip your paper so that the side that you see now is completely nice and white now once I have that when I'm going to do is each table is going to have a for what you're going to be doing so we are going to go over the different things that you can do to create your sculpture so what I want you to do I have to go through each one of these and determine what ones you like you just like if you have a brother or sister kind of thing so I'm going to go over the stuff with you I'm not going to go through every single one just for the sake of time that way you guys can write started right away first we're going to talk about I'm going to do like yellows exact I love pizza I don't know if it's my favorite one of my favorite so I'm going to do a yellow zig-zag the best way to do that I'm going to grab my yellow piece of paper and I'm going to start one end and flip it over and fold it back and forth back and forth so over and over all the way to the end making sure that the fold nice and crisp so that they really pop once I let go of it
