First week Art News:
2D & Advanced Art are building their own sketchbooks this week! We are learning how to sew!
3D classes are designing and building the Elements of Art Cube. Monday & Tuesday we studied LINE and created an Optical Illusion. Wednesday we will be studying VALUE.

2D Classes
2D Classes are working on drawing 1 Point Perspective City Street. It is super challenging but very cool! Pics to come.
Anime Club
Anime Club is every Thursday from 2:50-4:15
Starting next Tuesday, September 4th
Transportation is available.
We will be watching various PG Anime movies and drawing their characters!
We will be watching the movies in this order:
Totoro
Howl's Moving Castle
Ponyo
Castle in the Sky
Spirited Away
Nausicaa
From Up on Poppy Hill
Whisper of the Heart
Arriety
Mary & the Witch's Flower
The Last Airbender (the Series)
After each movie we will pause and sketch out the various characters from the movie together as a group.
Paper Sculptures
We made it through DAY 2 of school! This week we have hit the ground running! Here are some of the things we have started working on:
2D Art has started creating artwork centered around what their "Bucket List" is.
3D Art students are busy competing to see who can create the Strongest and/or Tallest Freestanding Tower.
Advanced students have begun to create their very own "Wreck this Journal" that we will be working in for the rest of the semester.
