From the Counselor's Office

I am very excited to be working with your children during this transitional time in their education. Middle school years can be challenging, but also incredibly rewarding, if student's utilize our available resources and supports.

On this page you can find information regarding counseling groups, classroom lessons, community assistance, and other information that will be helpful for you throughout the year.

Our registrar, Mrs. Mayda León, is amazing. If you have questions regarding enrollment, forms, transcripts, or life in general, she is your gal!
  • Physical or sexual abuse that has not been previously reported. If you tell me that it has been reported, I will still need to verify that it was reported.

  • Suicide threats, attempts, or thoughts, including thought of wanting to be dead. If you tell me that your parents know about the problem, I will still need to contact them to verify this.

  • Threats to your safety or the safety of others. This includes concerns about fighting, self-injury, substance abuse, and sexual activity. If you tell me that your parents know about the problem, I will still need to contact them to verify this.

  • Unreported felony crimes.

  • When a student meets "reasonable suspicion" of being under the influence of a controlled substance at school or has possession of a controlled substance at school.

Schedule Change Information!

Students--If you are wanting to change your schedule, you need to complete the schedule change request form for Mrs. Cooper.  That form is located in the office.

PLEASE do not fill out a request to see the Counselor slip for scheduling.

You'll need to have your parents sign the form!
