The 7th grade A volleyball team played a well executed game against Emmett last night stepping up their play with multiple hit returns and attacking the net repeatedly. Selena, Nevaeh, and Victoria all earned points for the cougars with their spikes while Victoria, Kianna, and Melody were high scorers from the serving line.

The 7th grade B volleyball team defeated the Emmett Huskies yesterday 25-7 and 25-22. Top server was Audrey Guilliltton serving 14 unanswered points in the first match and 5 more in the second. Also contributing to the win were Cherilyn Ford taking control on the court with 2 amazing saves and Ashley Roldan with 3 attacks at the net. The girls were behind in the second match but they stayed positive and never gave up on themselves or each other. Great job ladies!!

Yesterday in the Syringa gym, your 8th grade Cougar Volleyball players took on the Huskies from Emmett.
In the B game, the cougars started off a bit slow, then totally caught fire when Jayda Croft went back and served six straight points to tie the score. It was all Cougars after that. Lots of hits in the middle by Chavi along with great passing and lots of hustle by Iris and Addie. We won that game 25-21. In the second game the cougars started out strong with seven points on serve from Shyanne Good. Fatima Zamora had a great spike at the net. That game was so fun!! The B team ended up winning the match easily in 2 games!!

The 8th grade A team brought the heat!!! Game one started poorly with Emmett going on an 8 point run, but our girls battled back with some amazing kills to win 25-20! Game two was closer but we pulled it out, winning by the skin of our teeth, 27-25. Cougars RULE!!!
