X-Country District results are finally in and hot off the press!
Our Junior Varsity Lady Cougs placed an impressive 4th place overall with Julie Jimenez finishing 16th and Raimie Hilton at 20th out of 218 opponents.
Junior Varsity boys battled against 241 opponents and were led by Tyler Lambson, Jose Arreola and Francisco Sanchez. All three young men achieved personal records in the race.
Varsity girls placed 6th overall with Roz Hilton finishing 15th and Courtney Williams finishing 25th.
Varsity boys placed 7th overall with AJ Hernandez finishing 16th with an amazing time of 10:57! Luis Ortega placed 22nd also with an impressive time of 11:14!
Many of our runners put up impressive improvements and personal records. Although Zombies may not like fast food, our team loves fast food and represented themselves in an impressive way to the staff at McDonald's in Mt Home following the race. The 2016 X-Country team made Coach Mai and Coach Farnsworth proud this season!
